There is a variety of digital tuners on the market tailored for instrument tuning. While most cater to Western notation, the Indian notation system aligns closely with Western standards. However, difficulties arise when adjusting note scales, posing a challenge even for seasoned performers.

Unlike the guitar, string instruments feature multiple strings, making it challenging to remember the tuning for each string, whether main, drone, or harmonic strings.

SaaTtuner:

• Specifically crafted for tuning North Indian classical string instruments.
• Initial version supports five instruments (Rabab, Dilruba, Taus, Sarangi, Saranda) with a comprehensive tuner chart suitable for various raga compositions.

• Automatically shifts to the next string once a string is tuned correctly according to the tuner chart.

Notes:

• While the provided chart accommodates diverse performances, users can select their preferred chart and tune strings accordingly. Consider utilizing Manual Switching mode.
• If a string cannot be tuned to the specified note on the chart due to tension issues, seek guidance from a teacher or mentor to avoid potential string breakage.
• The optimal tuning method involves keeping the device close to the lower bridge.
